The first DVD reviews are now flooding in! Here is just a taster:

...I don't recall ever watching an angling DVD before where I was left thinking I really must go there to experience it for myself. There's always a first time for everything I guess, and this was it. The stunning scenery captured on camera for this DVD is guaranteed to inspire thoughts of that nature, and I defy anyone who watches it to feel any differently. In fact, I had the temerity to beckon my good lady to watch it with me, knowing full well there were 'possibilities' in store by getting her to do so, and I was right, we are now looking into booking a trip there!

...Apart from gaining my first stimulating insight into the area from a carp-angling perspective, I had never before seen Tony captured on camera until watching this DVD, and I must say I was greatly impressed by his laidback narration and style. Tony's manner compliments fully the truly stunning and spectacular scenery. For me, the enduring image of Tony banking yet another beautiful carp in the gin-clear water as the haunting call of the North American loon filled the night air, just on sun set, is one that is locked firmly in the vaults of my mind. One day, that will be me in that scene. All I can say is, if you are seeking inspiration for ideas for your next adventure, you could do no better than invest in this DVD.
For inspiration alone, let alone the entertainment factor, the two hours of spellbinding footage are worth every penny. Buy it and you won't be disappointed! Steve Howard - Carp Addict magazine.

...I have just sat and watched your DVD and can only say how stunningly beautiful it was! The quality of the filming is outstanding and it is probably the only Fishing DVD I will watch time and time again. It makes me want to visit the states and Canada to enjoy it for myself. Thanks again for making me feel almost there with you...Gerry Richards, Kent.

Carp Adventures USA was a pleasure to watch...Renowned photojournalist and worldwide carp angler Tony Davies-Patrick hosts a very interesting DVD that contains some absolutely breathtaking footage of both carp and the surrounding habitats...I was most impressed with the camera work and production quality of this film and must congratulate Tony on his results...A DVD for someone who wants more than just a few screaming bite alrams and some large carp...This double disc set contains over two hours of spellbinding footage...Lewis Porter - Carpworld & Crafty Carper magazines.

...Yesterday I finally found the time to view it and what struck me most as I watched the video was that it sent a shiver up my spine: THIS IS TRUE CARP FISHING!
I really loved the filming of carp just as they are in nature, for some strange reason I really thought I was the only one who also noticed animal life beside the water banks, and for the first time I didn't watch a video stuffed with screaming sounder-boxes and huge fat fish plus one commercial after another. I really had the feeling that I was watching a great television documentary on Discovery or NG Channel....Raymond Renirie - Holland.

...Watched the first DVD this weekend, fantastic footage. Can't wait for the French DVD to come out. Matt May. Norway.

...Known for his fabulous wildlife photography - who can forget his images of carp jumping in the white water of waterfalls? - This time Tony takes a movie camera to record carp fishing in the States. This is nicely filmed and at times has A Passion for Angling feel to it as Tony travels along rivers and across lakes between Massena and Niagara Falls in Upstate New York in his quest for carp.
There's some great action in this DVD including stalking footage in reeds beds lowering crayfish to unsuspecting fish and float fishing for carp from a small landing stage, besides plenty of exciting battles with super looking fish on wild and big stretches of river. There's some excellent underwater footage as well. You get to see plenty of the stunning scenery this part of the world offers as Tony chases carp through spring, summer and autumn. This DVD really has been put together well and I enjoyed watching it. Chris Ball Carp-Talk magazine.

...If all you knew about Tony Davies-Patrick was that he travelled all over the globe to catch monster fish in order to publish his Globetrotter book, and then went to America to fish for huge 'virgin' carp, you could probably be forgiven for taking an instant dislike to the guy! There can't be many anglers who wouldn't be just slightly jealous. However, as soon as you put the first of his Carp Adventures USA DVD's into the player, you realise that he comes across as one of those blokes you instantly like...I

enjoyed watching these DVD's and will watch them again, something I don't often do with DVD's...Elton Murphy Anglers Net:
... These are the sort of places every carp angler dreams about...

'Total Carp'

...The book is a spectacular piece of work, and I don't use the words lightly I've shown it to many anglers who have also been blown away. I took it along to a fishing meeting a few nights ago and passed it to a friend to flick through - two hours later the meeting had finished and he'd not looked up once!
The images that accompany the writing put this publication into a league of its own. I have never seen so many breathtaking shots of fish and fishing. In addition there are countless images of the surrounding landscapes and wildlife... all are amazing. There just aren't enough superlatives to go around!...
The only other thing I can say about the book is 'buy it' you will not be disappointed. No matter what type of fishing you do, or how much you are into the sport, I promise you will be captivated by this outstanding piece of work.

The writing itself is very fine, with real observational touches that are original. I bumped into Tony at the 2004 NEC, selling his book. I bought my copy there and then, and I'd advise you to get one too. A terrific read, and extraordinarily good value too...Barrie Rickards - FishingMagic.com:
